Anyway it occurred to me today that I can't be the only one experiencing this disastrous recession. All blame aside, you can point fingers all you like but the common man and woman has to get through this, with as much of what we had at the beginning of this year as possible. Eg. Your home, family, friends and possessions. So, with that in mind, I’ve decided to share a few of my money saving / making tips during this nightmare.

First up, The Mutual. This is an online advertising service that once you sign up will send you about 2-3 adverts to your inbox every day. The majority of them are adverts for phone and car companies, the odd gambling site and survey companies. Clicking on the advert generally gives you 5 points, getting to 3000 points is the goal as then they send you a cheque for £20. I banked my cheque today for £35 – yay! Tiny I suppose but it all counts and money for nothing other than clicking a few ads and signing up to a few survey companies is great. Anyway, sign up yourself. It can’t hurt, and no I don’t get anything out of sharing this information with you.
